Bay Area gourmet celebrity, Alice Waters will be signing her new book, "The Art Of Simple Food" this Thursday at Books Inc. in Palo Alto at noon. No SF Bay resident would ever ask who Alice is. For those of you reading from far away places she is the woman behind the famed, "Chez Panisse". Alice Waters can be credited for making us all aware of the importance of eating organic and local produce. Even though I can not cook, I will be waiting on line to have this book signed. (This book would make a great Holiday Gift!)
