The new Ritz Carlton Club and Residences will be opening in the late fall at 3rd and Market. This luxury building, with an excellent location in-between downtown and Union Square, is in a refurbished older brick building where they are selling fractional ownership units and full units. I've been on their mailing list for a while and know a couple of people who have bought into the property as second homes from the South Bay.
Thursday night, they hosted a wine reception for Rubicon Estate, formerly Niebaum Coppola winery. My husband is a member of the wine club, so we went to the event and had a chance to view, for the second time, the property and the plans for the property. It's an ambitious project, but the club promises to be a great getaway for people and they will be having a lot of regular events for members to become a part of their community.
The best part of the deal is that if you're a fractional owner of one of the SF units, you can swap it with other prime units in Aspen, Beaver Creek, Maui, St. Thomas, South Beach in Miami, and Jupiter, Florida. They have one, two, and three bedroom floorplans available (or they did - some have been sold out). This is definitely living in style!
Is the club at the hotel ? I have been there for Christmas Teas.
